The cushioning is very protective and thick and at the same time it’s light weight. This one was the best of the 3 in terms of ease of putting on the strap. The ventilation is just ok but it still makes my LO sweat. It stays on well because of the dual strap around his ear versus the others. I would get this one out of the 3 displayed. The only problem I had was that the material smells when it comes in contact with moisture, aka sweat. So, you'll have to wash it often.
