You could also use a bowl and brush. As long as you divide the solution in half and as close as you can, the tube of colorant, it’s easily done if you tightly cap each part for use next time. **Q: How long does the hair dying process take? Where can I see the instructions?** A: It takes me about an hour from the time I open the box until I am done rinsing out and conditioning my hair, but it will depend on several factors for each person. If you're trying to cover roots, it'll take a little longer than if you are simply changing from one color to another shade, because you do the roots first, wait, and then do the rest of your hair, and wait again.
