I tried these in my linen closets and it only lighted up part of the first shelf...BARLY and BADLY! Horrible lighting, you'd be better off using a cheap flash-light that only uses 2 batteries. You'd think that something that requires the use of 5 batteries would be much, much brighter, but it doesn't! I returned mine for a refund.
