I am 5’5 and 135lbs and I purchased the hot pink gi in W3 and it fits well. It’s slightly big in the waist but I’m sure it’ll shrink up a bit when I was it. It fits perfectly in length though. I am super happy with this gi, and I love that it’s a girly color! My only con is that it’s pretty stiff initially, but I’m told that’s normal for new Gi’s. I’m 5’4” and weigh 135lbs which size should I get?** A: Happy to help you find the best size gi for you! Based on the height and weight you mentioned, we'd recommend the W2 size. Note, Sanabul Gi’s tend to run larger (traditional style) than most brands. This is to allow for different preferences in washing and drying. If you intentionally want the GI to shrink you can wash it in hot water and put it in the dryer but you will only get minimal shrinkage. If the GI is too big (cuff is more than about 3 inches from the wrist bone) please do not attempt to wash or dry, instead, you’ll need to order a size smaller. In general, you can always order a size up and visit a tailor to hem the Gi to a more precise fit. If you do purchase and find the size will not work for you, we recommend trying to return the unused/unmodified GI within 30 days of receipt.
