It's also really easy to move around once I decide where I want to position it permanently (I used a piece of duct tape on my banjo just in case the adhesive didn't hold - better safe than sorry!). The cable is long enough to reach most amplifiers without any issues, and the sound quality is pretty good. It does a decent job of eliminating external sounds too, which is nice when recording or playing live. I actually used this microphone on a project where I created a rain drum type thing by attaching it to a plastic sheet with some beads rolling around (it was for an art installation). Worked surprisingly well! The only downside is that the cable could be a little more rugged, but it's not too bad.
