**Q: Hi, I need to install a 3/8" fixed glass panel on a shower, the panel messurament is 36"x80"  Do these brackes would be strong enough?**
A: I'm installing 3/8" glass as well. But I'm only using these on 3 edges of the glass to position it but with two of the clamps on the bottom also supporting it vertically.

A: No I dont think so. You would need bigger stronger ones. 
We used on 3/8" thick. 36" x 36" panel on a pony wall.

These can clamp onto a piece of glass with no holes or cutouts for them. Very nice, as buying glass that way is cheaper. Easy install. May want to ask your glass provider for the clear rubber shims to support the weight of the glass until you have clear-caulked the bottom edge of the shower glass. Many cut off the excess and leave the rest of the shim(s) in, I understand.
