This is coming from an owner of a super SUPER chewer who's main goal is to rip toys apart and absolutely destroy them. I've had one of their toys for a year now and there are minimal bite marks. This dog toy is so tough! I have two pitbulls who've aggressively played tug with it at least 5-6 times a day for about 9 months with no signs of damage. In the beginning, it did have a strong, weird smell and they weren't interested but I left it out in the yard for a couple of months and the smell dissipated. It's inside now with zero smell. It's totally worth it to deal with the smell for a little while, considering this is the only toy that has actually held up for more than a month. Other toys that were marketed as extra tough couldn't stand up to two pitbulls playing with them. I highly recommend this toy!
