This also helps to prevent any fraying and the possibility of fibers. All of the other flosses suffered from at least 2 of my three complaints. Some of them managed to hit all three. This floss is great on all three counts. Plus it's free of all the toxic chemicals. Some people have complained about the paper box. The box is convenient and easy to use.
