It has old plaster walls and had LOTS of reflections and echos. An over-lively room where it was difficult to understand speakers who were talking to the whole room. These tamed it. It did take a lot of them.They went up simply and easily. BUT, I do not feel that they can be removed without damage to the panels -- for cleaning, painting, or if we need to re-space them because we want to change the look of the room. At this price point, and for a room that sees quite a bit of use, I find this a big negative.
