**Q: Will this work on 5 mm crimp covers?  Looking for pliers that work with 5 mm crimp covers, not crimp beads.  Thank you.**
A: These pliers are made ideally for 3mm crimp covers. I use mostly 4mm covers and you can use but not ideal. I have to use regular pliers as well to adjust so covers are closed properly.

**Q: Will this work on 6mm crimp covers sold on amazon?**
A: Haven’t used 6mm myself. Had to do a little research and found other beaders that used this plier on 6mm covers and were pleased with end product. Hope this information is helpful.

**Q: Do these work on 3mm size bead knot covers?**
A: Yes they do

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not amazing, but a decent tool

This is a passably decent tool, slightly better than using the round part of regular 2mm crimping pliers, and roughly equivalent to the round part of 3mm crimpers. I used it to close some 4mm crimp covers over glued stretch cord knots. It's clearly designed for the more common 3mm crimp covers, so it wasn't ideal for the 4mm, which it had trouble holding and dented a little, but 3mm crimp covers are too small for this application, and I wasn't going for high end jewelry so I got it to work. The bent jaws are a very nice feature, allowing for a more natural hand position. It's fiddly and tricky to use, though, and the jaws are wider than they need to be. I got the best results when I put the crimp cover over the knot with my fingers (the pliers had a tendency to slip and flip the crimp cover to an unhelpful orientation if I tried to put it on with them), then used the flat part of the jaws to do the initial close of the crimp cover. Then I used the rounded part to shape it. If I tried to close it with the rounded divot, it tended to close all wonky, and the flat section was better at closing it straight. I would have designed this tool differently, with both 3mm and 4mm hemispherical divots like the Magical Crimper has for 2mm crimps. Bottom line, I don't think this is an essential tool, since you can buy a crimper for 3mm crimps that does 3mm crimp covers well (I used to have one but it's disappeared). But if you have an extra $12, it might be worth it. I'm still hoping someone will make a better tool for my 4mm crimp covers.
