If you have a thick instep, take the sandals on the 600 because the straps of the sandals on the go 400 are really short. **Q: Can this sandal be used as a water sandal?** A: I used these in water while kayaking and they are great, but they stretch and are now too big, so I feel unstable as my foot slips around in my shoe **Q: The footbed looks like it has cloth. Is it cloth or textured plastic? If it is cloth, how does that hold up after months of wear or whe they get wet?** A: The chlorine damaged my black pair and they became a little discolored (whitish). I didn’t throw them in the wash so not sure if permanent. But they are super comfortable and I highly recommend getting two pairs- one for water, one for comfy sandals to wear with summer dresses. **Q: Any way to stretch the toe part?** A: You could fill a small freezer 1/3-1/2 full of water and push it into the toe area of the shoe until it fits and stays. Put your shoe in the freezer for a day or so. Take out and let the ziploc ice melt enough to take it out of shoe. Try on shoe and you should see the toe area stretched.
