Nevertheless, I purchased the expensive version because I believed it had updated technology. I then bought this one which is an almost identical knockoff of the pricey one. Yes, I can feel it working & it does make your face twitch even on the lowest setting. I don't anticipate ever using a higher setting. The ones I have from Connie Stevens & Suzanne Somers also have the same twitching effect but not to this degree. This inexpensive version pulses 10 times & then zaps you. I don't mind the zaps but if you don't want the stronger zap, simply count the pulses & then lift it off your face! It's easy to move slowly because you feel it actually doing what it's supposed to do. It doesn't beep annoyingly after 5 minutes like the expensive version but I don't need or want it to. It's very relaxing despite being so strong. I use it on my cheeks, jaw, & carefully around my eyes. I don't use it on my forehead because it's too strong for me in that area. Instead I use my gua sha which I love. You don't need expensive gell as it works great with any cream. At this price it's definitely worth a try & I'm delighted I did! So I figured out to power on you hold on to power button for a few seconds. After it turns on you can hear a beep. It however doesn’t have any current going through. I followed instructions in the manual but nothing. I even tried it full power but got no power out of it.
