I use it to add architectural details to foam-core models of buildings I use as a backdrop for fantasy paintings.It can be a bit stiff but soon regains pliability when warmed gently. You do need to give it some kind of internal support to make a large piece and successfully model a figure or a head.If you are considering buying this instead of Plasticine for creative kids I would recommend it. (I would have been thrilled if someone had bought me a big single colour block of this to play with rather than those miserable little multi-colour bits that quickly mix together into a grayish mess.) It is worth bearing in mind that you must keep your hands very clean or this will retain fingerprints and grubby marks so one of the darker shades will probably be better for play.
