Review: Bought this as a gift for an older cat that I look after once in a while. She's never played with anything other than a ribbon on a string for several years and gets bored quickly . I set this on the floor and as soon as she left her carrier she went straight for it ! The catnip inside was probably what got her to head over to it but she started batting it around right away and even goes a little crazy when she plays with it now. It takes her a while to stop playing with it so she's not finding it boring . The 'squeaking sound is not annoying and not too loud . Nothing has come off this little bird yet and she's been pulverizing it for a few days now . I would recommend this cat toy to any one for it's quality , price and the fact that it has got a lazy older cat to play again !

**Q: Are these real feathers?**
A: No they are mot teal feathers. Don’t buy it, poor quality. It fell apart after a few minutes of playing with it.

A: Hello there from South Carolina. Roll over the picture and you will see the clear plastic sticking out of the BIRDS BACK. It has a Balloon with script (like the comics) telling you to "Remove for sound"  This keeps the batteries fresh for you. IF it has been removed..battery can be dead. Charmin attacks the thing und GUTS it (removing the sound module) and places it in her trophy box. The module itself is self contained...not sure if battery is replaceable. SQUEEK is more like a mouse vs a bird sound.

**Q: We received the ourpets backyard bird.  i got it for my cat for her birthday which is today, i pulled out the plastic tab & nothing happens.**
A: sounds like this was defective; you may want to return it for a replacement.

A: squirrel seems to be the favorite, does not like the mouse, elephant, or bird style. raccoon and fox are both good. carries them around yowling every night.

うちのお猫様のストレス解消用に購入しました。 リビングの天井にＳ環を付けて100均で買った細いゴムで商品の背中に小さい穴を開けてぶら下げています。 天井からゴムで繋いでるので猫が引っ張って離すと跳ね上がるので自動猫じゃらし機です。けたたましい鳴き声が するので猫様の興奮ＭＡＸです！ 真夜中にじゃれつき、けたたましい鳴き声を響かせるのは少し困りものです(>_<)
