I bought this watch four years ago and it has done both jobs well. After four years, the analog battery died. I will replace it but decided to buy a new watch and use the original as backup. I previously purchased a pricey Casio (> $100) to fulfill the same purpose but it's design is terrible. The digital display is too small and much of the time, it is obscured by the analog display. The TEKMAGIC has a large digital display and there are only occasional times (for example, 6:30) when the analog hands cover the digital display. Very happy with this watch, so much so that, as I said earlier, I bought another.
