A: They do not

A: You will need a total of 4 double A batteries.

**Q: How much weight can it hold?**
A: I’d say yo to 10 lbs. I have some candles and a picture frame on mine and it’s holding well.

**Q: Does the light only turn on at night? or does it have some sort of timer to control when the light turns on?**
A: You have to turn it on and off manually at the battery pack, which we hid behind a little cute plant on each one.
