It came painted, so sanded the paint off and still it would weld properly. It’s either coated on the inside or made of really bad, contaminated metal. It’s also not 2x2 as stated. More like 1 3/4 x 1 3/4 so it did not fit well with 2x2 box steel. After a couple hours of messing with, it still looked terrible. Cut it out and threw it in the trash.
