The bottom is flat but with a little glue and the rough side of Velcro you can fix them in position better than hooks. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Real rubber *by L***B on Reviewed in the United States on March 12, 2018* Packaged well. Smells nice, real rubber matting. Easy to cut/trim with utility knife. Used this to put on the drawer in the back of my Jeep for the dog, so he's not sliding all over. Was easy to work with. I used sticky Velcro, put 1 side on bottom of mat and the other on drawer. This way if need be I can remove and reinstall.
