But the second one had a nice reddish color to it and looks amazing in our kitchen. It is overbuilt and holds out knives very solidly. Don't skimp on these bars with a lesser quality or cheaper brand. This bar almost grabs the knife out of your hand when you're putting it back. It's not the easiest to install but pretty straight forward. 20 minutes tops. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Attractive, a little tricky to mount. *by R***C on Reviewed in the United States on March 2, 2018* This is a very addition to our kitchen. Mounting a little challenging due to its weight and the need for absolute precise placement of the screws. Only down side is that our largest and heaviest knife will not stay up but slides down until the handle is resting on the counter. I hung this on a metal back splash in my kitchen using heavy duty gorilla mounting tape. Easy to install, strong hold. I bought this for looks but also, I've read that the outer bamboo covering on this protects knife blades from damage they would otherwise receive due to being bonked by metal when you put them away.
