It's designed to be anti-ageing, skin brightening and nourishing. It's also good if you have one or two areas of dry facial skin as I do. And in short - like so many skincare products - it of course claims to make you look younger as it's rich in anti-oxidants and deeply hydrating.The 15ml of product - UK made - is packaged in a frosted glass bottle with rubber dropper within a recyclable cardboard box. One thing that surprised me as someone who's relatively new to facial oils was that the in-pack leaflet only shows directions and diagrams as to the best way to massage in the oil - but no indication as to when to use it to optimal effect especially if you're intending to incorporate it into an existing skincare/make up regime which I found a little disappointing.Olverum Pure Radiance Facial Oil is very pleasant to use. It's 'fragrance free' but I take this to mean it's free from artificial fragrance as it smells rather wonderful. I assume this is down to the essential oils it contains - rosehip, lavender, geranium, clary sage and jojoba. I very much like the fact that this is free from silicones, sulphates, parabens, Triclosan - an antibacterial/anti-fungicidal possibly implicated in disruption to hormonal development - and it contains no ingredients derived from animals.Not having used Olverum's facial oil for long, I can't attest to its youth giving properties. I'm using the product once a day in the morning after a facial serum. I like the fragrance and my skin does feel super hydrated after using the oil. Would I re-order it? - No. Though I am enjoying using the product, for 15ml the price - which must be considered - is for me just a little too expensive. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Lovely but is the expense justified? *by F***A on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 March 2022* I’ve long been a fan of facial oils, especially to seal in my “layers” of serum followed by night time moisturiser, that regime has really improved my skin. I’m in my 60s so dry patches, lines, lack of collagen etc are all factors to be dealt with. Kindness and gentleness are my watchwords for all my skin care staples, so avoiding chemicals and parabens as well as any other nasties is key. This oil certainly meets all those criteria, as most facial oils do - it has all the right ingredients and dare I say, the usual oils I look for: rosehip, apricot, jojoba, clary sage. So I’m not at all sure what makes this so special it justifies the very small size (15ml as opposed to the more standard 30ml) and a whopping price tag. I haven’t found the magic ingredient which would place this above my usual oil. However, it is very pure, only using the natural scents of the oils and of course, it only needs to be used sparingly. Two drops, warmed in my palms then gently patted on my skin, is enough to provide an excellent coverage for my whole face and neck. I also use a tiny drop mixed in with my day time moisturiser, as I do with my usual oil, which I find really helps keep my skin supple during the day. But expensive *by S***T on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 25 March 2022* This little bottle of facial oil comes packaged entirely in cardboard, with just one little plastic sealing sticker at the top. The oil is presented in a very attractive frosted glass bottle, with a dropper in the top. The bottle is a bit deceptive as the glass walls are quite thick, making this look bigger than it is.The oil contains lots of lovely, natural things. Amongst them apricot, patchouli, rosehip, elderberry, cardamom, clary sage, geranium, lavender, and sunflower. This smells amazing – gently floral with an underlying warmth from spices. A little bit of this goes a long way – which is just as well, because at £60 for a teeny little bottle this is eye-wateringly expensive (£4 per millilitre) – and leaves skin feeling lovely and soft.My skin is generally pretty moist, and although it’s light I found this oil a bit heavy for general use but applied carefully to my under-eye area and crow’s feet, this is excellent. The scent lasts quite well, too.
