It will hold probably 4 or 5 fireplace-size logs, which is all I'd want to carry at one time. It stands up on its own, even without rods built into it; that's handy when loading it. The waxed finish is pretty cool; it's like it's built out of an old-fashioned tarp. I like the leather reinforcements on the carrying straps.
