That being said, for the same price there are better options **Q: What is the telescopes focal length?** A: Best answer I have is, it has a more direct view of what your searching for out there. If you look at the moon, you may get 2-3 minutes before having to adjust the telescope and follow it across the sky. I did see Mars with it and you can see the flicker in stars. It’s pretty powerful. I feel it’s worth the price. I’m also at the level under novice astronomer.
