I was honestly not sure what I was going into when I first started reading this book because I never heard of it but oh my gosh I’m surprised that I have not heard of it because it is so so goodI love how the plot was developed and how you can kind of see where things are going, but not know how it’s going to end so it’s enough to keep you so invested. I also really enjoyed the characters. I feel like they had a chance to each build your own personalities and you can kind of see who they wereThe female main character kind of starts off soft, but she soon gained her spine, and I really really love that because you were able to actually see her developing that character development with her and all of the otherFor being just one book, it almost seems like this was a series with how the story unfolded. I definitely definitely recommend this book if you’re looking for a shifter why choose with a really good plot and just a little bit spicy

Truly, I enjoyed this story from beginning to end. Legacy has one hell of a journey to her HEA with her men, but it's so worth it.There's love, betrayal, drama, intrigue, smexy times, triumph, and more love. Three smokin hotties, several nefarious douchebags, and the bonds forged along the way. Such a good story. Don't take my word for it, read it for yourself.

I got the story I needed not the story I expected. For that I am grateful. This was a freebie on a birthday bash. I got it for fun and spent v the day reading. Very engaging story. Hooked me by chapter 1

This was an easy and fast read, def a different take on a paranormal read. I found it funny when they interacted with other paranormal creatures. If you like mate stories and why choose then this is the story for you.

This is a must read. It is not for the faint of heart. Evil things happen to good people and sometimes they are rewarded. The characters have definitely different personalities that come alive with May Dawson.s visions. Thanks so much for the story.

Very Interesting twist on the rejected mate theme. The whole vampire-werewolf hybrid thing was a new one to me. I liked that the FMC found her bad a** b**** self, because at the beginning I was thinking she was one of those sheep who can't think for herself. But that independent attitude of hers did seem to come out of nowhere once she was attacked. Proofreading got a little sloppy at the end, but was otherwise good.

This story was hard to put down, I just had to see how the story ended. The Northwood pack has some shady things things going on. Legacy gets attacked by a vampire and the lack Alpha makes it sound like she is lying. The story really heats up when she ends up on Castle Island with three men.

I love all things May Dawson and this book is no exception! Normally with one of May’s books, we are left with a huge cliffhanger so it was a bit of a shocker to see the story all wrapped up in a pretty bow! She does an amazing job with character development in the story to the point that until about 3/4 of the way through the book, you aren’t sure who the true villains are and who the hero’s are….. but you can see the love story develop and you want to root for it!The main story revolves around Legacy, a good girl who seems to have it all until an unlucky run in with a vampire. When her fated mate and the son of the Alpha, Lucas, doesn’t believe her and then rejects her… she finds herself on Rejects Island with three other shifters… Killian, Rhett and West. While she struggles with her new reality, Lucas is trying to break the mating bond between them but sleeping with everything that walks causing Legacy pain. Legacy turns to the men on the island for comfort …. But there are some questions that remain….How does the vampire Tobias keep finding her? Why does he want to hurt her! Can she fight her developing feelings for Killian, Rhett and West? Should she try? Why is the ghost trying to kill them? What exactly is Cyrus and Lucas up to that has Tobias seeking revenge?Ok May…. I loved the story but I think we need a side book on Tania and Courage!!! I want to see what happens with them!!!

Love the characters and story line. Fast space or lagging plots. Love it.Can't wait to read more from the author.

I loved the sub story of ghostly adventure to the whole story and the growth the female lead had during the story.

I loved the storyline and Legacy is badass! The characters are all written so well. Lots of steamy scenes in there, but it doesn't overpower the storyline, it's well balanced.

Will she get revenge on her mate and pack? Does she deserve a second chance at love?The first book in the series Reject Island and I like my reading very much. There is character development, and mystery. The male characters are caliente. It’s a reverse harem, but they don’t all want her right away. This is gradual and adds volume to the story. My favorite moment is definitely the payback against her mate, but the end also felt rushed. I enjoyed this rejected mate story. Legacy is a strong FMC and she learns that the moon may select a journey rather than gift a mate during the full moon. Legacy has a mate chose by the moon but he's not worth anything, she is rejected after an incident and sent to reject island, there she meets 3 guys and some ghosts. Good story even if I really didnt understand how legacy claimed she loved Lucas that made no sense at all and wasn't in keeping with her character or their relationship but that aside the rest was pretty good! I would have liked the relationship between legacy and the guys to get more time as that was a quick progression and no time to find out how the guys decided to stay together but otherwise I would recommend.
