I wiped my intake down with alcohol and that tape is still holding strong. **Q: Can I use this for exhaust headers?** A: This is not the correct product, you will want an exhaust heat wrap **Q: Will this tape leave residue after taking the tape off?** A: If there is quite a bit of heat.......like above 150 degrees.....I'd say yes. In my application- the tape receives no more than 105 degrees. **Q: Can this be used on a radiator hose and would it be practicle for that use?** A: I used it to wrap black intake tubes above a turbo. it helps reflect that radiant heat so imagine it would do the same for radiator hoses.
