My son had broken multiple of these. So instead of just buying new trains I found these couplings. For the ones I could get off the trains these worked perfectly.

These do NOT fit the new Thomas & Percy talking trainset, even though it is a track master set.

This product is excellent, in some ways better than the originals provided. Certainly seems to hold up better to my kid’s constant chewing! It is worth double-checking your engine’s original parts, as they are not all compatible, and quite a few of the coaches are held together with rivets, not screws.I’ve found I’m left with a lot of front hooks, as the motorised engines don’t have hooks on the front.Additional use: My kid likes to hook his motorised engines together in a kind of tug-of-war, and gets frustrated as they won’t sit flat. I’ve found that putting a spare loop between the rear loops allows the engines to do battle in this way without toppling over.

Some of the hooks don’t work with newer trains.

As any other Thomas the train collector/parent can say it is imperative to have extras of these connectors on hand. The quality is fantastic and is a perfect fit for most 1995 to present Thomas the train track master engines.
