## Description

ACDelco GM Original Equipment Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensors (TPMS) are battery powered sensors located in the tire that monitor the vehicle’s tire pressure, and warn the driver when pressure falls more than 25% below the manufacturer’s recommendations (normally through a slow pressure loss). The sensor is connected with the valve stem, and by way of Radio Frequency (RF) technology, sends pressure updates to the vehicle’s on-board computer. Tire pressure is displayed on the vehicle’s Driver Information Center (DIC), or when low, a warning lamp might be illuminated to warn the driver. The U.S. Federal Regulations require that new cars and light trucks be equipped with TPMS starting in 2008. These original equipment tire pressure monitoring sensors have been manufactured to fit your GM vehicle, providing the same performance, durability, and service life you expect from General Motors.

Review: Worked perfect for the Chevy traverse - Guy at the garage installed them no problem. They needed to be synced and he had a little remote code reader that he walked around the car with. Took a minute to screw them in, and another minute to rescan them. When i put new tires on, I gave him these and he did not even charge me for putting these in. 2 minutes time was all. You hold your fob's lock and unlock at same time for like 8 seconds until horn beeps. Then he starts at driver front wheel and goes to driver rear, the passenger rear, then passenger front with this code machine thing and it senses the sensor and sets it to the position of the car, so you know what tire is low. As he scans in each tire, the horn beeps once, when he gets to last tire the horn beeps twice. Now I learned that my sensor was having issues because when they rotated my tires they DID NOT reset the sensors to the proper location! And so when my front left was low, i would check it and it was fine, but my rear right was low. I thought my sensors were bad, sheesh, the Walmart guy never re-scanned the sensors after rotating my tires! UGHHHH! LOL - But Now I know to ask if they re-scanned!
Review: Up to date positive buying experience. - Purchased 4 of them for my 2010 Silverado. Product shipped and delivered within a couple days. No issues, showed up brand new in genuine Delco individual packages as they would from manufacturer. Installed with no issues. I did have one valve core that wasn’t quite tight enough and did need slight tightening. That’s a Delco issue though. Heads up to all buyers. I did need to buy a TPMS learn tool to get them to pair to my truck. I was not able to accomplish the typical air pressure let down procedure in the manual. Not one of them would pair using that method. I’ve done this procedure multiple times without any issues before. I do know GM eliminated this procedure sometime around the 2012 model year. So these may be updated sensors that require the learn tool. These are the same part number any auto store would sell. The tool is available on desertcart for $10. I wish I would have just bought the tool years ago, it made the whole process very easy and didn’t require more pressure adjustments. All in all a very good purchase. No different experience then if you bought them from a parts store. Except they were about a third of cost.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This Works
*by D***E on November 22, 2020*

Those of you looking through the reviews listen up and I will tell you about this item. First of all, what you receive will not look like the item pictured. Do not worry about this. GM has updated this sensor and you will receive the newer version from the seller. It even states this somewhere on the package. The individual packages did have the AC Delco logo on them. I ordered 4 and had them installed when I replaced all the tires on a 2010 Silverado. My understanding is that this sensor will work for 2007 to 2013 GM truck models. When received I noticed the sensors had a different part number than the ones mentioned so I cross referenced with several national auto parts sellers and verified this was the correct updated version of the sensor but just at a much better price than what they offered. In fact it was a lot less. Here is the other bit of advice to make this easier, go ahead and order the GM series TPMS relearn tool model EL50448 unless you prefer to save the $12-$14 and do the manual reset where you have to let air out of the tires for the system to relearn the sensors. It literally took about a minute and a half for the system to relearn and shut off the warning light on the dash that I had been looking at for the past 6 months. . Just follow the instructions in the vehicle manual up to the point where it tells you to start letting air out of the tires and substitute that for the relearn tool. The tool comes with instructions on the process concerning which tire to start with etc.
