I did coat it in clear gloss paint to protect it from weather after seeing a review photo where color was gone. Holding up very well. Beautiful. Will bring in come winter& clear coat again. **Q: Is there a warranty on this?  Mine has completely lost tail colors in less than 6 months**
A: yes it lost tail color in less than 6 month.

**Q: Is it rust proof?**
A: I touched a magnet to the Peacock.  It is most probably a cheap steel underneath.
I've had some similar ornaments that i spray once every three or four months with Krylon 
Clear Gloss.  The current birds in front of the house have survived for over two years.

**Q: In your description is 24 inches but in the picture is just 18, whats the real size ?**
A: The length of the peacock is 24 inches the height of the peacock from the floor to its head crown feathers is 18 inches height.

**Q: Is there a bigger size?**
A: There were some bigger ones with the tail fanned out.

Absolutely Beautiful. Nice and sturdy, well constructed of quality materials, easy to assemble. Nicely painted, definitely an eye catcher. Well worth the money. So glad I made the decision to purchase, should be long lasting if properly cared for.
