**Q: What is the exact diameter of these? Are they exactly 5” or a little bit less? Thanks!**
A: From outside to outside the glass measures 
4 5/8 (four and five eighths) inches. The actual glass is about 1/8 inch thick. The inside glass dimension from inside to inside is 4 3/8 (four and three eighths) inches.

**Q: May I heat these vases in a microwave or sit them in hot water? I have wax from a candle in them. I can’t remove it by hand.**
A: I don’t think I’d microwave then, but you can definitely fill with scalding water. 
I have heard that if you put the wax in the freezer, they will be easy to remove from the vase.

**Q: Does the top turn black while the candle burns?**
A: I don’t use it for candles. I use it for sea shells.

**Q: Are these heavy enough to not tip over?**
A: Yes!! They are the weight of a real vase.  Solid.
