They are solid metal and don't feel like they're going to break when you are hard on them. I was surprised by how strong they are especially for the price. The case is thick hard plastic. Shouldn't need it for the smaller wrenches. Handy to have just in case. **Q: Does the extender bar fit ALL of the wrenches?** A: ALL? In a way but of course it depends on the size of the wrench The two extender have different size openings so all of the wrenches will go in at least extender but the smallest wrenches won't be tight. The openings for the extenders are .24" and .45". So the extender bars have limited use and not a game changer. Frankly these are not high precision wrenches but are better than nothing. The good thing is that Amazon will take them back. **Q: Is there a set with Torx (Star) L wrenches?** A: Is there a set?? Obviously if you order a set of torx. Just look at the description. **Q: I am looking for a long extension bar. Can I combine the two extension bars together to make a single longer bar?** A: Yes you can. That would give you an extension bar 6 7/8" long.
