I was expecting a smooth surface. It’s looking a bit cheap.** A: It is cheap. I think it is the cheapest peel stick on amazon. Yes, it has some texture. I would put it in a low traffic area. Please note that the lines are not going to be perfect. It did it’s job in a tiny 1/2 bathroom that I never use in our house. some of the tiles didn’t have the sticky in patches but it will work fine. **Q: Is the darker color black or navy?** A: It is neither black nor navy blue. I purchased it thinking it was black, but next to actual black or charcoal, it looks like a dark midnight blue, it's darker than navy blue. The other colors are a true slate blue, a marigold gold tone (no shimmer) closer to bronze than gold, and a light gray. **Q: Do these comply with the American Disability Act (ADA)?** A: I dont know it meets the ADA act, though I am disabled myself and did the work of placing the title down with no problems.
