A: I believe it should . I have a 2007 FJ with the 4.0 engine - you should be able to goggle 2007 forerunner ,what oem filter fits it

A: My brother and I buy these to fit our V8 1Gen Tundra trucks.  His truck is a 2002 and mine's a 2005 ~ both with the V8 engines.  I believe the V6 engine uses a different filter than this one.Hope this helps.

**Q: how many miles are filters rated for**
A: As many miles as your oil will last. For instance my 4Runner goes 7500 between oil changes. The filter gets changed with the oil. Make sense?
