However, I feel they are a little too small for large dogs (Mine is a 72 lb German shepherd). Both sides of the brush are a little smaller than other brushes I've used, and the smaller end was too small to effectively brush the little crevices in the back of my dogs mouth.My only other issue was that the bristles seemed a little too firm to me. I mean the dogs hate having their teeth brushed but after a grand in dental work respectively they'll just have to deal with it. We've been brushing our 6 year old soft coated wheaten terriers teeth for his entire life, and when we take him to the vet they still look like pearly white puppy teeth. If you're considering brushing your pet's teeth we use these brushes and C.E.T. Pet Toothpaste. The small price for the brushes and toothpaste and small amount of time it takes (especially if you start them as puppies) is well worth the money and discomfort you'll save in the long run!
