It’s a great game for all ages as the kids can be as detailed in their pantomimes as they are able. Also great for mixed ages. We had a 4, 7, 8, and 11year old all playing together, along with the adults. You should definitely get it. **Q: Does a kid need to be able to read to play? Wondering if we could play with our preschooler.** A: No. You can read the words for them. It’s really easy to modify the game to match the abilities of different kids. The older kids had fun acting out the 3 words/phrases together while the 3 year old only managed to do 2 at a time, or act out each one separately. Our best games involved 3, 6, 7, 30-somethings, and 60-ish players! **Q: I have this game but not the instruction cards-- how does the scoring work/ what are the stars for?** A: The stars are for scoring. After a player has acted out their pantomime the other players, or a “judge” award stars for their performance. We don’t pay a whole lot of attention to them. The kids use them explain how well they thought the player had performed each of the parts of their pantomime. I don’t think we’ve ever counted stars at the end of the game. **Q: Is this game like charades, where people guess what you are acting, or you just do it for the fun of it?** A: Yes, it's similar to charades. I use it in my classroom with 2nd graders. There is a Who card (ie. dinosaur), What card (ie. sandwich), and How spinner (ie. slow motion).
