Debating whether fitbit 2 or much cheaper version. In the end, I decided to risk it. And I am very pleased with this purchase. If anyone has extra $100 to spare, fitbit2 is definitely a better choice. It has a much better battery. Its heart monitor is better and better App. But for me, my requirement is a decent step-counter and heart-rate monitor. Plus some sleep pattern monitor. I think DENISY is good enough. I charge the battery every 2 days after reaching 50% mark. Its step-counter is just as good as fitbit 2. And its heart rate monitor is in the ballpark. And I don't use any of the app much, anyway. Remember this is not a medical device, just an indicator of the daily activities.Not sure the life-span of the battery with its more frequent charging, though.
