It shouldn’t, I’ve had Sketcher’s with this style years ago and they didn’t. I have the grey ones. **Q: Can I use my custom made orthotics in these shoes** A: I have $800 custom orthotics & I do NOT wear them with these shoes, because I don’t need them with these shoes. I am amazed that I can wear these for long periods at a time and without any pain whatsoever! I’m actually so happy with them that I am purchasing a second pair, to have as back up in the closet. Btw, I had surgery for tarsal tunnel and have had extreme foot pain for the last 2+ years. **Q: Sizing for BLACK Skechers? Do they Run large as many reviewers stated about the white option?** A: I purchased the white ones in a size 9W then because they were so comfortable, I bought a second pair in the same size.
