For reference my daughter is 11 years old and very skinny. We bought size 11/12 and they fit her like a glove. I’m not sure exactly how tall my daughter is but I am 5 feet tall and she comes about to my eyebrows . The pants do not drag on the ground as they are not overly long . My daughter loves the fun style and the elastic waist is awesome to fit many different waist sizes. The only reason I give them 4 stars instead of 5 is because, although the pockets are real, they do not close. They have fake buttons on the flap of the pocket with nothing to fasten them to on the actual pocket. So when we take them out of the dryer the pockets sometimes stick out. In order to get the pockets to stay down and flat to look right (Nice and neat) you will have to either iron the pockets down or spray them with water and let them air dry. However this doesn’t bother my daughter at all so we usually just let it go since they really don’t stick out β€œtoo much” anyway. Also, because of this, it is worrisome leaving light weighted objects like money in the pockets with nothing to secure the pockets closed. But this is a very small issue for some very decently priced cute jeans that my daughter absolutely loves.
