Safer Brand70102 Japanese Beetle Trap with Attractant

The Safer Brand Japanese Beetle Trap has been a game-changer for our garden, where we had a serious Japanese beetle problem that used to destroy our green beans, berries, and plum tree. We've placed several traps around the yard, and they catch hundreds of beetles each season. While they can be a bit pricey to replace every year, they're definitely worth it because they work so well. If you're struggling with a Japanese beetle infestation, I highly recommend these traps!

Beetles were already flying in as I was hanging the trap. These have been perfect- bags full of beetles. The only problem is if it is windy, the very thin twist tie breaks and the trap is on the ground. I am replacing with zip ties.

So this work too well. My suggestions are these. Put far from your plants because this attracts! I put mine 15 ft away and they not only swarmed the bag but my roses too so I will be putting this more towards the woods. The odor is potent like a bad lavender I could smell it from 30 ft away. Put by a bird feeder. I put mine on a bird feeder and birds were having a field day eating the little nuisances. Con is yes they can get through the drain holes. My suggestion is put scotch tape over the holes and pull tape off after a rain. Besides that the product works. Do not put within 30ft of garden or affected area this attracts! They will still find your garden. But after 2 hrs I had 30 plus, I emptied and after 1 full day I had hundreds! Place far, and empty often. I burn them after throwing them in bags.

I have tried other brands, but these are the best yet. Lasts at least two months, attracts the beetles in droves.

I followed the instructions and I’ve seen the beetles around here but I didn’t catch not one single beetle wish I hadn’t missed the return window due to illness cause I’d returned it!!!
