And plastic? Fish spit out** A: The fish in my 20 and 46 gallon tank eagerly eat GloFish food. The flakes are multi-colored as are many other fish foods on the market. If you are asking if the food itself is plastic? Then no. **Q: Does it expire ?** A: It does have a date on the bottom which I assume is the expiration.
