For the last nine months we have had a problem with the neighbor dogs. They come over at least once a day and torment my dogs by running up and down the fence barking and causing a raucous. Not only is all the barking an annoyance, but my dogs keep getting hurt. One of my dogs sprained her toe on our chain link fence and the other suffered a significant cut on her rear leg due to all of the running and commotion. I did receive this item at a promotional discount and was extremely excited to have the opportunity to make those dogs go away. I'm a super skeptic and didn't expect that it would work, but by golly it does. Those dogs headed over to my yard, the motion detector captured their movement and started to do its thing and they got scared and ran back home. I love that it has five different modes so I can make sure to change it up if they ever get used to the noise. Thank you so much for getting rid of this nuisance.

I am very happy with my new PestZilla animal repeller! PestZilla shipped this to me quickly and it arrived on time and in perfect shape, I set it up and it worked perfectly! ONE NOTE: I would not leave this out in the pouring rain, I left my first one on and tested it and it was working perfectly the night before a big rain storm and though the device itself was mounted on the aluminum rod (at least 6 inches off of the ground) the unit got soaked and quit working. I contacted PestZilla and explained what happened, the sent me a replacement and advised me to NOT leave it out in the direct rain...so I will build a little house around it to keep it from getting soaked in the rain, please know that it can take some water sprayed at it, morning dew, etc...it just cannot get drenched! I am VERY happy with the device and all of it's settings, you can have the sound (very loud, it would scare me off!), ultra sonic sound (animals can hear it, humans cannot), flashing lights (strobe style and very bright) and these are on a motion sensor that is very resoponsive, yet not too sensitive. All in all, I am VERY happy with the device and with the company ethic (immediate replacement without any hassle).

I chose the PestZilla Powerful Electronic Animal Repeller because it had a LARGER COVERAGE AREA then similar products: Up to 5000 Sq. Ft. (PIR Motion sensor: Up to 800 Sq. Ft.). For a week now, I have been using it to keep feral cats off my patio. The cats have shredded my cushions and rugs, knocked over planters and statues, left a half-eaten dead mouse on the patio and generally destroyed any enjoyment I had of my patio because I am always picking up after the mess they leave. At night the cats made a lot of noise around the patio and on the sides of my home. I placed the repeller on the patio floor center back wall of my patio facing out toward the yard...I felt it needed to be level with the height of the cats to detect them quickly. The first couple of days I used the setting that gave me the audible alarm, flashing lights and sonic sound. The alarm is not as disturbing as one would think for humans but it's definitely audible. The alarm went off a lot the first day. The alarm and the flashing lights go off three times when triggered. After being triggered, a few seconds later the repeller realarms itself and can be triggered again. If it is windy and there are rocking chairs near it, the alarm can go off too much. On day three, I stopped the audible alarm by going to setting two. Now there are flashing lights and sonic signal when the repeller is triggered by movement. When I use the patio, I place the repeller face down so I don't set it off. It has worked wonderfully!!!! The cats are hanging out on the other side of the house near the fence line. Everything on my patio is just where I left it. I recommend THIS model...not the ones that look like it but have a smaller coverage. This product can be powered by AC or by battery. I have it plugged in so I can forget about it.

Living in a rural setting has many great advantages. Mice is not one of them (unless you feed on them). If a mouse-proof garage is not available, how does one protect a car that is not used very often? Our previous car was relentlessly attacked by mice. We tried every deterrent that would not endanger other wildlife. When we purchased a new car two years ago we had to get serious. We covered all exposed wiring & chewable piping with split loom tubing. It worked. Except, of course, for the fan belts. On the hottest day of the year, the air conditioner compressor belt was disabled by mice! Our search for a solution led us to the previous version of this motion sensing pest repeller. We set up a 12 V to 9 V converter and added battery clips. We also found the perfect niche under the hood where the unit would protect the fan belts. It worked like a charm! It became routine for us to remove the unit before starting up the car. And, after one year of continuous service we discovered that the voltage converter had failed and a full 12 volts was being delivered to the unit...with no issues. So, we deleted the converter and simply attached battery clips directly to the unit's external power cord. After two years of almost 24/7service in minus 20 to 100+ degree weather, our first unit began to fail. We gladly replaced it with a backup unit we kept on hand...and purchased this latest model. After successfully testing it with 12 volts, it became our new back up. Have we eliminated mice from our car?... no. Has it stopped them from doing disabling damage to our only vehicle?...yes! Truly, an effective & humane invention, thank you!
