In fact, some sorghum grains can be popped, similar to popcorn. So just as there is white corn that has nothing removed, likewise white corn meal, sorghum flour is whole grain flour. **Q: Is there a difference between sweet sorghum flour vs sorghum flour?** A: According to recipes, yes. I ordered sweet sorghum flour and was sad to receive sorghum flour. So I ordered Sweet sorghum flour elsewhere on the web **Q: Can this flour be used to make homemade biscuits?** A: Yes, but not by itself. I use a self rising flour mixture: 1-1/4 cups white sorghum flour; 1-1/4 cups white rice flour; 1/2 cup tapioca starch/flour; 2 teaswpoons xanthan gum; 4 teaspoons baing powder; 1/2 teaspoon salt. If you have a favorite biscuit recipe that aready has baking powder and salt in it, omit them from here and substitute this flour mixture one to one for the flour in your recipe.
