A single layer of the tint gave me a mint green hue with a hint of blue but I'm experimenting now with a double layer or light smoke film layer to achieve a deeper/darker green. All in all, I'm happy with the product and am just waiting now to see how it will weather, stand up to heat fading and hold up against power washers and the like. Update: 2 weeks later, I've added a second layer of tint and now the lights I covered give off a true green color that I'm much happier with. They've also stood up to several rain storms at 72mph and a truck wash at blue beacon which is 6 workers with power washers. I installed the tint on the OUTSIDE of the work light lenses on my truck so the weatherproof installation is pretty impressive. Last thing I'm waiting to see now is if there is any heat or UV fading of the color over time. I'll update again in a few months. Can someone please advise how to apply to glass?** A: The film I received, like many other automotive tinting films, has two parts -- the (vinyl?) film itself with adhesive, and a protective (less stretchy, polyester?) layer that you remove just before adhering the film. It can be hard to separate the film from the release layer, and the two pieces of scotch tape suggestion is good. Here's one decent tutorial. https://www.wikihow.com/Tint-Car-Windows. I notice the manufacturer suggests dry-applying the film, so I tried that on one window and it looks fairly awful. Maybe a pro could get uniform adhesion all the way across the window without the soapy water, but I couldn't. My wet-applied windows look fine. (Well, as fine as my window tinting ever looks). **Q: Does it come rolled and boxed? Does it come folded?** A: It comes Rolled within a Box. Very good product. **Q: Does it block light?** A: I used it on my little solar powered LED lights that I mounted on our backyard fence. I wanted to tone down the cold white LED light. It made the light a nice warm amber color. It does reduce the amount of light produced, but Iā€™m not using these provide a lot of light, just using them to identify where the fence lines are in the dark. **Q: Can this withstand the heat of lightbulbs? To get a violet purple / lavender purple look you probably will have to add some blue so maybe 8000k LEDs or HIDs will give you that look.
