The three stars is due to the sticky feeling it acquired after being on the bike for a couple of months. The plastic developed a sticky film probably because it sits in the sun all day while I'm at work. I discontinued use because it transferred this sticky stuff to my hands/gloves when I touched it. ### ⭐ Not for a real bike ride *by J***R on Reviewed in the United States on June 11, 2017* Not for a serious bike rider. It's a great idea, and there are similar mounts for motorcycles that work great. But this mount does not hold the phone over even modest road conditions. It isn't secure. It's easy to use, though the screw isn't long enough for standard road bike handlebars. But it just doesn't hold the phone securely, so not appropriate unless you're riding something like a beach cruiser over well-paved roads at slow speeds. And if you choose to do so, I'd advise the toughest phone case you can find. Your phone is still likely to fall out.I rarely write reviews.
