These became totally ineffective after just 2 weeks. There's not nearly as much charcoal embedded in them as with other brands. These furnace filters are of cheap generic design and quality. They lasted me half as long as charcoal filters I've bought from other makers. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ GREAT CONSTRUCTION, PROPERLY PACKAGED: IN SHORT, THEY WORK EXTREMELY WELL *by M***G on Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2019* These filters were nothing less than an excellent value when originally purchased in 2018, as their construction was nothing less than great. They are reinforced on both faces, and do not collapse under the force of airflow over time. In addition, they also have thin wire woven throughout the filtering material itself, further insuring the shape is retained for maximum filtering efficiency. They are also individually wrapped to assure they are completely clean when introduced into the ventilation system. Of all the types and brands of filters tested ( and I have tested quite a few ), these are the best in all areas, hands down; in short, they easily deserve a " 10 ", or 5 full stars. The downside is that the price for six ( 6 ) has increased some 50% over last years price, but that does not negate the quality of this item. If they decrease back to a more reasonable price , more will be purchased by this reviewer; if not, a different brand will be purchased. As good as these are, they have not cornered the market on quality. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nordic Carbon Filters wrong actual size description *by W***1 on Reviewed in the United States on November 24, 2017* The actual size air filters I needed was 15.5 x 15.5 x .75 (15 1/2 x 15 1/2 x 3/4) and the description states that is the actual size, and that the ordering size is 16 x 16 x 1 .. The filters I ordered came today and I was happy to finally have clean filtered air, but as I went to put the air filter in, it was not fitting properly.. I had to force the filter in place because the filter was a little to big..
