It's pretty thick, texture wise. This curling cream is good too but very creamy and heavy. I like the cantu gel cream cuz it seems to go on a lil lighter and holds my curls really nice. Yes I've tried all 3. They all work well, just gotta figure which would be best for your hair type. I use all of them between myself and my daughter. They are great for our curls. **Q: Does it work on relaxed hair?** A: Yes it works very well on relaxed hair, i also apply the cream to my scalp for added moisture. Its great, it's not heavy very light and not greasy, I love it. I ordered 2 bars.... **Q: if your hair is transitioning from relaxed to natural will this make your hair curly too?** A: This product will only bring out the curl that’s already there, it will not change the texture of the relaxed ends. The use of perm rods and flexirods on the ends will allow your hair to look uniform. **Q: Is it good for Wavy hair?** A: I have combination wavy/curly. Mostly wavy. (And, quite thick.) He has really nice hair so I like to make sure it's well taken care of. He is mixed with African American, Mexican, and Caucasian so his hair is curly and he likes to keep it long it's important for me to get a strong curl cream that has many good qualities. For me this protects his hair and keeps it moisturized without weighing down his curls or making them crunchy, that being said a little goes a long way and if you add too much it will get those white flakes on the scalp so don't over apply. It's thick so distribute it evenly and focus on the curl patterns rather then the thickness, I have come to find that using really small amounts and focusing on the curls does better then just grabbing a big amounts and rubbing it all over. I have curly hair myself but my mom didn't know how to do my hair so these are things I learned as I grew up and wish I knew. I think it does add shine, but if you are like my son if you sleep rather restless after night 2 it's gonna need a touch up because the frizz will start to happen. I am very happy with the product for smelling nice, providing hold and curl definition, being affordable and lasting awhile I usually buy two jars at once and my sons hair wash days vary between every other day to 3 days and they last me about 4 months but keep in mind he does not have a sensitive scalp so I am not sure on how this product would be with that case and I honestly apply it really thin on his top layer to avoid the flakes that have happened from over applying in the past. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It works well on your hair.
