You can eat the Pili Nuts as is or you can do the following which some other people do:

1.	Soak in salt water for 12 hour, or:
2.	Blanch them in boiling water then just squeeze them out of their skins and eat them skinless, or;
3.	After blanching and skinning, you can roast it.
4.	Turn it into a non-dairy milk

Very tasty. But I do not know why I paid this much for some nuts. I feel they are overpriced. I could be wrong, maybe they are expensive. I didn't shop around before I bought.

I do like the tast of pili nuts (though it takes getting used to), after I soaked and dehydrated them. Some of the nuts didn't look right after dehydrating, which is why I wanted to find out if I did anything wrong. First, when I sent two emails to find out the best way to soak and dehydrate pili nuts, I got no response. Then, I did get a hold of the secretary by phone. She asked me to send some photos and also to find out about my request for information on soaking and dehydrating. I did do just that, but she never responded, even after a second attempt. Because of this, I will no longer buy from Divine Organics, which is anything but...
