I leave them in my purse for cold weather or cramps and they've been a lifesaver on more than one occasion. They take some coaxing the first couple uses. You have to flex the discs several times when they are new. But they've gotten to the point they work almost immediately now.I will say, I reset one once and accidentally left it to boil for too long. It melted to the bottom of my pot and I had to throw the pot and the warmer away but that was user error. DONT OVERBOIL IT!
