The instructions are adequate, but definitely not written as clearly as Lego typically does. Also, there were a few connections that I felt that I needed to superglue. Overall it looks great. The silver gloss tiles used on the top of the plane fit the look better than any Lego tiles that I've seen. And with Lego's decision to not produce any military related sets, products like this are the only option for jet fighters. I built this with my 5 year old. He does great and is very advanced with normal Lego builds, but many of these connections were a little tricky for him. So I would recommend this for a teen or adult that is ok with using a little glue here and there.
