English Paper Piecing is new to me. The information I gleaned was helpful. The paper in question is not appliqué paper. However, given that in the past people used newspaper or discarded greeting cards I believe because the paper in question is quite robust it might do the job and make good templates. Hope this helps **Q: Is this bleedproof for chalk/marker pens?** A: Emma, I’ve used this card with my granddaughter using water paint, poster paint and crayons with good success. However, I haven’t used the chalk medium you describe. I’m sorry I appreciate my response is not very helpful Regards Paul **Q: Is this good for ink blending** A: I don't think it is porous enough to blend ink. **Q: How thick in mm is this card?** A: For one individual piece of card (with the measuring equipment at hand) I cannot give an accurate reading but it is practically paper thin. To be more accurate, around 3-4 normal A4 pieces of paper stacked.
