So I wish I had just gone with the regular stiff type, they weigh less. I am very happy with the cork handles, soft straps and different attachments. I would have liked to make the straps smaller/tighter, but it pulled where the strap gets thick instead of the skinny part to adjust it. Not a big deal, though. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The springs are a little firm *by T***N on Reviewed in the United States on September 24, 2018* The poles are good quality, but the springs are a little firm. I also remove the upper clamps when in the spring mode because you must have them loose for the springs to work and the clamps kept coming open. I was afraid they would loosen up and fall off so I just removed them. They do not slip and have held up well over 4 different walks. I am going on a 3 day trip next week and we will see how they hold up to that abuse.
