It doesn't provide exactly certain size (one size fits all n there's variety size marker on underneath for trimming) . So as I did trimmed it with a very good pair of scissors on the front of it to fits my size. **Q: Is the other side of them smooth?** A: I bought this so long ago, I honestly don’t remember. I don’t think so..... But they were so uncomfortable, I threw them out. **Q: Will it slide around in my sandal? How to secure it?** A: Yeah, it's will slide in sandal. But personally suggest that I used painter tape ( made a loop) to paste it under of insole. Why use painter tape !? Cuz it's only left little bit of glue marks behind and it's easy to wipe it off. When u needs to clean ur insole. **Q: Will this insole fit a man's shoe size of 12? Diabetic use?** A: I wouldn't use it for a diabetic. It's not approved. They will fit a mans size 12. I wore them in my keds without socks and with socks. Either way they hurt like hell and wouldn't recommend to anyone.
